Who We Are
Tovar's Painting is run by Edwin Tovar out of East Hampton, NY. The business covers interior and exterior painting, drywall installation and repair, deck remodeling and repair, and pressure washing — five services that, in practice, overlap on a lot of real projects. A repaint often turns up a wall that needs patching first; a deck rebuild often gets paired with a pressure wash beforehand. Working across all of them means fewer contractors for you to coordinate on a single job.
We're based in East Hampton and work the length of the South Fork, from Montauk to Southampton, which means we've seen firsthand how differently a house ages depending on how close it sits to the water, how much shade it gets, and how old the original construction is. That local familiarity shapes how we scope and price every job.
Being owner-operated means Edwin is personally involved in your project — not a sales rep handing your job off to a crew you'll never talk to directly.
